Independent Sidebar for Icon 1 Demo

Hi All, Sorry for a beginner question but what extension/plugin/section of wp is powering the Independent Sidebar in the Icon 1 Demo? I am trying to get the side menu looking very similar to the demo, but with so many menu related editors, I havent found which one does it.
