Increase padding between social icons

Social icons are easy enough to hit with a mouse, but are a little too close together for big fingers on a mobile. How do I increase the padding between them?

Can I set the viewport width where the extra spacing is applied?

Please try this:

@media (max-width: 480px) {
    .x-colophon.bottom .x-social-global a {
        padding-left: 10px;
        padding-right: 10px;
    }
}
