> in Widget Title

Hello,

Some of my footer widgets are prefaced with the > symbol in the title. This happens on certain widget titles and not others. It’s showing up on two different sites as well. https://ontheten.org and https://mredsanders.net both have this in their footer widget titles.

I seem to have something messed up. Can you help me identify the source of the > in my titles?

Hi Ed,

Thank you for writing, that is an option under X > Launch > Theme Options > Typography > Widget Icons. If enabled, all native widgets (text, recent post, calendar, etc.) will have the icons on title. Disable the Widget Icons option if you don’t want the icons.

In this site (https://ontheten.org/), your widgets Follow Us On Facebook, Subscribe to Site via Email, Spam Blocked, and Connect with OntheTen.org are coming from a 3rd party plugin so they don’t have icon assign to them.
