In-page Anchor Links Scrolling too far

I know this question has been asked a ton of times, yet none of the solutions in this forum have helped.

The strange issue with my situation is that the links sometimes go where they should but other times scroll a fair bit passed where they should. It occasionally goes where it should, other times it goes a little past, sometimes it goes way past. It seems completely random.

One one is clicked (whether it goes to the right spot or not), the other links seem to always go where they should. But that still doesn’t help the initial problem.

This is referring to the table of contents at the top of this post:

Also, I’ve tried adding the JQuery suggestions from elsewhere in these forums with no luck.

EDIT I just went back and checked previous posts that worked fine in the past. They’re also having issues with this. What would suddenly cause all of my in-page links to mess up like this??

Thanks!

Hi,

I checked in chrome and firefox, it seems to be working fine on my end.

See Video- https://www.screencast.com/t/qOCKfsmSueo

Can you try clearing your browser cache then check again.

Thanks

Yes, sorry I didn’t have time to come on here this morning before I left.

It ended up being an image lazy-load plugin causing the issue. I’ve had the plugin for ages and haven’t experienced this before, that’s why I didn’t check it first.

Thanks again for looking into it!

Hello @kerridawn,

We are just glad that you have figured out what has caused the issue.
It’s good to know that.

Best Regards.
