Impossible to save with Cornerstone

After doing all the work, I clicked save on Cornerstone and nothing was saved. If I change anything again, the Save button will have a red round No sign that won’t allow me to click to save. If I click Crtl+S it displays the hooray messages or whatever but the page is not saved. I tried with Chrome and Firefox and both have same behaviour. Frustrating when you work so hard on the page to notice that Cornerstone is not saving anything. how to fix this?

Note: Yes I have all the mem stuff increased at max as per your recommendation.

Hey there,

I see the issue. This is mostly due to server resources being limited by your host for a number of reasons. Please give us cPanel access so we could check your usage history. Please also ask your host for your usage history and see if your site has been limited. Increasing memory doesn’t have an effect in this case.

Upon checking, I can see the following errors in the console.

Please contact your host and make sure that the url /mw/cornerstone-endpoint is not being blocked by any security rule.

This is the reply I got from my hosting provider (siteground)

I checked the logs of the server however there are no entries related to any mod_Security rules being triggered. However if you could always disable this feature if you think it causes issues with the performance of your website:

Well you need to tell me if now I can save with Cornerstone or not. You asked me to check with my hosting about that security thing and they replied with a negative. So what could be the problem you are seeing and how to fix?

Thanks for writing in! I am another staff checking in. I created a test page to make sure if I can saved in Cornerstone or not. I have successfully save the page and you can check it here: https://modern-wave.com/mw/an-x-test/

Maybe you can send us the page where you were trying to edit? We would like to compare the errors that is present on that page and why it is not on my test page. And if you wouldn’t mind, could you please re install Cornerstone by deactivating it first, hit the delete button and visit the X > Overview page so that it will automatically gets re installed.

Please let us know how it goes.
