Importing Ubermenu Settings Not Resolving In Frontend

Hi,

I have imported the settings of the Ubermenu of one website to another (Successfully). When viewing a page through the Pro preview in the Customizer all seems well, but on the live/frontend website most of the settings do not reflect and are totally wrong.

Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? (Private message to come with credentials)

Hi Chris,

Thank you for writing in, no have not heard of this issue before. Is the site where the Ubermenu is coming from is also using PRO? Please do the following.

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  • Resave your Ubermenu settings.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. I tried steps one and two and nothing worked. However, the solution was in step three. Clicking the SAVE CONFIGURATION button in the bottom-right corner of the screen (Appearance > Ubermenu - navigate to the bottom of all settings) did the trick. Just pasting the settings and using the IMPORT SETTINGS button is not enough - stupid me!
