Importing blog post from another wordpress site not working

I tried to import some blog posts through the wordpress importer. It seams like it worked as I had no errors however i don’t see any of the posts loading on the front or back end.

I tried to upload again but it said the posts already existed.

Any ideas?

If it matters at all, i am hosting with WP-Engine. I cleared all caches (wp-engine, cloudflare, browser etc)

Would you mind providing your site’s URL and admin login credentials in a secure note? I’m not sure if this is theme related or Wordpress related since the theme has no connection with the import process. I’ll check it first.

Certainly. Also the site is updated to the newest version with the new default Gutenberg page builder whereas the previous site was still in a pre 5.0 version. Not sure if that makes a difference?

I checked and it appears that the import process failed, I recommend contacting WPEngine regarding that. Your Wordpress is a managed one which they installed so they may able to help you tracing the cause of import issue.
