Import Demo Content - Technical difficulties

Hello, I am brand new to the x theme. I am trying to install demo content. I went ahead and installed Integrity 1 - Standard demo without knowing it wouldn’t install the content. I am now trying to install the gym - expanded demo. It has yet to successfully install. If i already downloaded the standard demo is this why it is causing technical difficulties when trying to install the expanded one?

I went ahead and tried adding &clean-cache to the end of my browser - didn’t work (maybe put it on the wrong page??). Also, I have 256MB allotted to my PHP so that doesn’t seem to be the issue either.

Should i go ahead and delete all previous demo content? Also, what page(s) specifically should i add &clean-cache to? Is this even an error on my part?

It keeps trying to reconnect and then tells me this…

Hi There,

It is not necessary to erase the previous demo.

Please try once again, if that does not work, please provide your login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Thank you

I managed to get some demo content - images, etc… but no structure to my home page…

HI there,

Integrity should contain placeholders and structures even without a complete content. The building itself is not working when I checked it. There is a ton of active plugins, would it be okay to disable them while testing? Since it’s still a demo, I think it should be okay. And please provide your FTP login credentials as I may try to re-install the theme and plugin just to be sure the files don’t contain old files when updated.

Thanks!

Hey Rad,

Feel free to do whatever, I’m basically starting from scratch.

One error I came across while installing the new plugins for the x theme was :Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 105644032on line 274…
Which I fixed by removing the last installed plugin files from the database…

I’m attaching my ftp login to a secure note above…

Thanks!

Hi There @LittleToot

Thanks!

Thank you all for the help! Great service!

Glad we were able to help

It would be helpful to others looking for solutions to the same problem if there was an indication of how to solve the problem.

Hi There @Roch101

This can happen due to various factors, for example cURL related, PHP version related, PHP Memory, Server caching, hosting configurations, firewall related issues etc.

If you’re experiencing this issue, please open up a new thread with your login credentials to investigate the issues for you.

Thanks!
