I have had this issue in the X theme previously and have not found a solution. Images from previous posts will not completely render. Here is an example link: https://www.patrickcomtoisphotography.com/2019/10/10/nikon-z50-is-here. Half of one of the images is gray. This was not the case when uploaded to the media library in WP. It also happens in the slider across the top and is even like that in the media library when I look at the image. What could be causing this? I am running the most current version of the X theme and Cornerstone. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can you please check by uploading the proper image once again? If that does not work, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache
6.Disabling CDN
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
I would also suggest you check by activating any of the default themes like *TwentyTwenty. If the issue does not exist with it, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
