Images Disappeared after update!

So after I updated my theme, all the images on my site disappeared, HELP! I have deleted all my cache, updated all my plugins, and they still aren’t visible! Give me some ideas.

Thanks for writing in!

Can you please let us know where you are facing issues with the image? I checked the website that’s listed in licence manager and I can see that image are loading and displaying fine without any issues. If there’s a specific page where image are having trouble loading, please share the exact URL with us so we can take a closer look.

Happened to me too - the site in question was using Smush image compression.
Deactivated lazy loading in smush and now good to go - nothing to do with Pro

On my end images are loading fine and I don’t see any issues. Can you please let us know the section where you are noticing problems related with images?

I have updated everything, plugins and themes, and now all my backgrounds are still gone

Hi @trinityprep,

I’ve checked the site and the section’s backgrounds are showing up (see the screencast below). Please clarify.

Based on what I’ve seen from other users updating, these things could help:

  • Make sure both X and Cornerstone are updated to the latest version.
  • Disable Smush lazy loading if you’re using that plugin.
  • Clear any caching plugins you may be using, and your browser cache.
