Image won't show on frontend from looper

Hello,

After the theme update, the custom gallery on the website isn’t working properly. One of the images won’t show but when I click on that image, the lightbox opens with the image inside.

Can you please check what happened because none of the logic is changed?

Hi @ofirdoo,

Thanks for reaching out.
It might be the cache that is the reason behind your problem. I cleared all types of cache, and the image started loading correctly.

Thanks

Hello, it’s not working for me in any browser, incognito. I even cleared the cache folder on the server, but that didn’t help to show the big picture.

Hi @ofirdoo,

I have tested in all types of browsers and also in the Private mode of it. And the images are loading correctly. Can you please check it on any other computer in any other network, and let us know if you are still facing the issue?

Thanks

Hello again; unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. Just to be sure if the cache is the problem, I deactivated WP Rocket, and only big pictures don’t show in the gallery.

Hi @ofirdoo,

I have checked and found that the English version is working correctly. Once I cleared the System Cache, I found all the versions working fine. Can you please check it once and confirm?

Thanks

Hello,

I did check again. Now on the front page big picture is visible, but not in gallery. Did test on a couple of computers.

Hi @ofirdoo,

After investigating the Gallery page, I found that the image element is not working correctly inside the loop. I have added a new image element and added the same values in the options, and now the image is coming properly in all versions of the Gallery page. For future references, leave the image element hidden in the Cornerstone.

NOTE: Please clear the cache properly before viewing the pages.

Thanks

Hello once more.

Thank you. It appears the main problem is that after the theme update, if the image in the looper was set as the background image, then it won’t show. After switching to the img/ element, it works.

Maybe you should try to reproduce on your side just to see if that is bug inside the theme.

Hi @ofirdoo,

Glad to know it is working now. We already tried to replicate the problem you are facing, but have been unable to do so till now. Will continue checking this, and if anything is found, will report to our development team.

Thanks
