Hey I have an image I want to upload the orginal size was 1500px (w) x 9004 (h) with a resolution of 150, and the file size was 6.2mb this did not upload and i thought it must be the size.

I then compressed the jpeg file and the size now is 1000 (w) x 5620 (h) with a resoluiton of 100 and the file size is 800kb which is tiny right?

So why will it not let me upload the file? I have uploaded files of a similar size already.

It’s related to the server side issue.

Hi
Ok so hostgator have changed my limit so I can upload larger files.
But I am still having issues. The image I am trying to upload is only 7mb in size that should upload no probs right?
Is the dimension a problem? I wouldnt think that the dimensions can be an issue?
I just get an error message everytime I try to upload. “HTTP Error”

the dimensions are 1500px x 13503px

Any ideas??

Dimension of image is not the problem. In previous reply it’s mentioned that you are getting HTTP error while uploading images. To fix that problem, please take a look at following source:
