Image slider for post media

Hello,
I’m not sure if such a feature exists in your theme, so I’m just asking. I add images in a post type for example hotel. Is it possible to activate somehow a slider for these images? I know that I can create a slider for each post and add a shortcode, but I will have thousands of that kind of post type, so it would be better just to add image media for each post and a slider will just show automatically these images when viewing that post. I want to avoid creating a slider with a plugin for each post. Any idea or keywords to search for are greatly appreciated!
