Image size on page load way too big

Across this site the images are put up too large and resized down and that is a huge issue, I am focussing on this page now :

and on a staging site I am taking the first two images and resized them at the product level to 250x250 which is the size they come in at, but they are still blown up on page load to be huge. I am not sure why on page load I get this delay and then the layout shift, I am reviewing on my end, but I am not sure what is kicking in to resize these images, it is a product call on the page so it is product image that is causing this. I have been looking through the forum to see who has had similar issues but nothing yet.

Thank you for writing in, regarding the large image issue, when selecting an image from the media library you can choose which image size you want to place.

Regarding your staging site, please do the common troubleshooting guide we provided here, especially Clearing all caching plugins and Testing for Plugin Conflict.
