Image size in Modern Events Calendar

Hi there

I think, since I updated X-Theme this week my 3:2 ratio images in the Modern Events Calendar appear cropped as a square in the overview list:

Before, they where shown not cropped in the same width but as 3x2 ratio. Also the image quality was much better, when the photos where not cropped.

Is there any possibility to display the images again in 3x2 ratio not cropped with some CSS?

Hello Felix,

Thanks for writing in! Please be informed that the image thumbnail size for the Modern Events Calendar has always been 300x300 in List view and 472 x 324 in a carousel view. This is the default image size built in the plugin. To display untouched or cropped image, you will have to upload image size smaller to the settings.

Please also be aware that these sizes were hard coded in the plugin. Displaying other sizes might require custom development which is beyond the scope of our support.

Thank you very much for your Reply. Yes of course, I understand. I think I will leave the Images as they are.

Is there any chance to remove the three dots at the end of the Excerpts from MEC with CSS?

Regretfully, it does not have a class we can target so it’s not possible without much hacking.
