Can we control the main image size in the post ? Icon stack.

If you are talking about the feature image, unfortunately there is no setting to adjust the image size. But you can do it in custom code.
Please let s know what exactly you want to do with your website URL so that we can suggest you better.

I want the image to be 1200 px wide and 400 px height for my featured image , Also, is it possible to control the padding on top and bottom of the image ?

Hi there,

It is not possible to have the image limited in pixels as then it will not be responsive in smaller window sizes but it is possible to force it to be no larger than 1200 pixels. Please add the code below to X > Launch > Options > CSS:

.single .entry-featured .entry-thumb {
    min-width: auto;
    width: 70%;
    max-width: 1200px;
    display: block;
    margin: auto;
}

Feel free to change 70% to whatever size you think suites for the smaller screens.

The padding that you see at the top and bottom of the page is the section which should be the place for the post title. You set the heading colors to be white and that is why it is not showing the title.

Please open up a separate thread for the title and give us instructions on what you want to do, if you want to change the color of the title or you want to remove the title section altogether.

width is working. Is it possible to control the height ? i try to control height with (min-height - height - max-height) and nothing change.

Hi there,

The height is another story. If you change the height and force the width then the size of the image will change and it will be skewed you know.

For the height, you can not use percentage and you need to use solid pixels which I am sure you will see that the image size proportion will be affected.

One workaround for such cases is to use the object-fit CSS property which partially manages the case:

.single .entry-featured .entry-thumb {
    min-width: auto;
    width: 70%;
    max-width: 1200px;
    display: block;
    margin: auto;
    height: 250px;
    object-fit: cover;
}

But in general, we do not recommend forcing the height. Thank you.
