Image placeholder for unfilled ACF field

Hi, I am using ACF fields to populate different elements. And have been using conditons to hide the element unless populated, ie:
string. is not {{dc:acf:post_field field=“photo_gallery”}}

is there a way, to display a placeholder image instead of hiding element?

I would suggest you please add an image element where you need to set the placeholder image and conditions like this.
