Image legends in gallery slider

Greetings. I need to create a media slider that shows the image and the legend over the image. I have found I can use a standard wordpress gallery inside revslider tags in order to get a media slider, but I cannot show the image legends. Any hint?

Hi Javier,

Thank you for writing in! Do you mean by legend is a navigation thumbnail? If so, please see Slider Settings > Navigation tab and enable the thumbnails.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

No, that wasn’t my question. Let me clarify.

I am creating a slide from a gallery this way:

[rev_slider alias="media" order="79"]
[gallery type="slideshow" link="none" size="large" ids="381,294,292,285,227,226,224,198,197,196,194,195,193,192,191,190,189,143,141,142,140,139,136,137,134,355,357,359,358,361,360,363,362,230" orderby="rand"]
[/rev_slider]

Each image I am including has a legend:

But I can’t find a way to add this legend into the gallery slider.

I see I can define a static/global layer, which I imagine acts as a template for all slides. The only thing I can add is a text layer, but I find no way to add a shortcode to catch the image legend to show it in the slide.

I really don’t care which way I am attaching the slider. In fact the method

[rev_slider]
[gallery]
[/rev_slider]

is only another try I have done, I don’t care how, I just need to add the image and I need the legend to be taken from the image legend. doesn’t matter how.

Hey Javier,

Regretfully, this is not possible with Slider Revolution. This might be possible with custom development or other third party slider plugins but this would be outside the scope of our support.

Alternatively, you can use a post based slider instead. Please watch this video https://youtu.be/Rkkom9sC3jA

Thanks.
