Image dont show up title and discription in sourcecode

FIRTST
Hey both elements. classic image and image do not show up title and discription in sourcecode. i want that for seo reasons.

SECOND
also i am wondering why image element by default sets alt tag to: IMAGE
and classic element sets by default the page-title (in my cas it is: KLETTERN): PAGE-TITLE

I did understand it this way. image element should be the more advanced new element. and classic element old one.
Actuall it themes that the classic image does the better work. how can this be?

Hello There,

Thank you for the very detailed post information. Please understand that the image element and the classic image element has its own Alt field in the element settings. This does not automatically display the image title or alt text which you may have added in the Media Library when you have uploaded the image. In this elements, you will have to insert the alt text manually.

Image element:

If this field is left blank, Image will display as the Alt text

Classic Image element

If the field is left blank, nothing will display

Hey @paulenders,

First, the image HTML element does not have a title and description attribute. Please see https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp. This is why WordPress itself does not output title and description attributes to the image element because they don’t exist. See https://youtu.be/nD8Chg51JrY

Second, the Title and Description are used for the Image Attachment page. For more details, please see http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/image-meta-data-101-title-caption-alt-text-and-description/

Here’s what the image attachment page of X Ethos looks like.

If you still require the title and description to be added in the image element, you will need to hire a third party developer to integrate them for you.
