Image Caption - Single Layout Post - Dynamic Content

Hi there,

I’m trying to add the “image caption” as per the Media Library under the featured image in a Single Layout for all Posts.

I’ve looked through some similar topics in the forum but I can’t find a solution using Cornerstone and Dynamic Content.

The closest I could find was:

{{dc:post:excerpt post=“_thumbnail_id”}}

Unfortunately that’s for the “Description” (not the “Caption”) but it also doesn’t actually bring back the description for the image. It does bring back the excerpt for the current post.

Is there a way, using dynamic content, to add the image caption (as input in the media library) to the Featured Image?

I’ve since seen some other inquiries in the forum from 2021 that seem to suggest this isn’t possible with dynamic content.

Is that still the case?
