Image becomes very small when in tablet or mobile viewport

I am using an image in a slot as part of a component and when I shift to any viewport smaller than 767 pixels, the image becomes very small (about 100px) regardless of the container size. I want it to fill the div completely, but nothing I have tried is working. I want to solve this at the component level so I don’t have to go to each instance of a page to insert custom CSS .
