Image appearing in classic text while editing

Hi there,

On a pretty old website, https://dev.vvdm.ch the editor is now cluttered with the same image:, while displaying correctly on the live site . I redid all the items on the French version, but the images came back after I closed and reopened the editor. I am editing in FF. It seems that some controls such as font-size are missing as well.
Theme X and cornerstone are up to date and cleared all caches.
Thanks for you help.
Best,
Sandra

Hey Sandra,

I can’t replicate that in my test site so this is probably caused by a third-party plugin or a custom code. You didn’t mention if you have tried testing for a plugin and scripts conflict so I’d first recommend that you do the following actions below:

  1. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  2. Switch to the parent theme

  3. If you have not updated WordPress yet, please also update.

If none of that helps, please give us WordPress admin access in a Secure Note

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

I deactivated and reactivated all plugins and apparently the problem is solved. I updated the Grid along the way. So that might have bee the issue.

Thanks and have a good day!

Glad we could help.

Cheers!
