I'm wanting to make an exact replica of the Renew blog post type, relabeled as "reviews"

What would be the best way to achieve this? Custom post types plugin or making a copy of the template file and renaming it? I’m a bit rusty on this.

But the main thing is I want to reviews post type to display the same as the blog (icons, post format options etc.)

Hey Murray,

You would need to create a custom post type for this.

Regretfully, we don’t have a specific tutorial but once you’ve managed to copy the setup of the default post type, the custom post type will be using the single and archive templates of X.

Please just note that we do not offer support for custom post types. In case you encounter issues, you’d need to fix on your own or hire a third-party developer.

All I’m missing is the x/Pro Page Settings metaboxes under the main post editing area. How can I get those page setting options to display on my “reviews” custom post type page? If you could just give me a hint, please. Thanks.
