I'm unable to add an image

Hi, for some really strange reason I’m unable to add an image to my pages.

I’ve tried adding an image element, duplicating one, and even the classic image element and nothing works. This is within existing pages, and now I’ve just created a test page and it’s the same thing. Every time I click the “source +” button in the left-hand pannel, nothing happens. I can’t add an image. I have multiple X Theme websites run on Cornerstone, and it’s only happening on one of them (as far as I can tell) and this has never happened before in the 5 years of using Cornerstone. Its been this way for weeks (I don’t know when it started) – but I’ve been waiting for an update to come along to see if it would fix it but it’s still not working and now I really need to make an update on the website.

I’m running
Wordpress vs. 6.0.2
Cornerstone vs. 6.1.4
X Theme vs. 9.1.4
All other plugins are up to date.

Please help!

Hi @janetmsewell,

Thanks for reaching out.
The problem you are having might be due to the improper update of the X theme and Cornerstone plugin, I would suggest you follow the below steps to troubleshoot.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

  1. Theme Related Issue
  2. Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update related issue
  4. Child Theme Related issue **if you activated it.
  5. CSS/JS Customization
  6. Disabling Cache
  7. Disabling CDN

If none of the above help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
