Hi there. I am trying to edit my website but I keep getting “iFrame response incomplete” message when trying to edit any pages. Do you know that to do? I have disables plugins and increased PHP but still no joy.
Hey @shuffie,
That error is usually caused by a 3rd party plugin. When you said you disabled plugins, did you disable them all? Please confirm and please keep all 3rd party plugins deactivated while we investigate just to be extra sure.
Please also do the following potential solutions if applicable.
Only if none of that helps including deactivation of all 3rd party plugins, please give us the following info in a Secure Note.
- WordPress Login URL
- Admin username and password
You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.
Thanks.
Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly and your advice. I have tried all this but still not working. I have left you a Secure Note.
Hi Leon,
It seems that you are using a much older version of X i.e. 7.1.2 whereas the Cornerstone has been updated to the latest version i.e. 5.3.3.
The issue you are having might be due to the incompatibility between X and Cornerstone. I would suggest you update the X theme by following the below steps.
- Delete the Cornerstone existing one
- Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
- After deletion of the Cornerstone, please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Hi there,
Many thanks for this. I thought I had updated the X theme but I obviously didnt. I cant get the menu to show on mobile devices. Are you able to advise on what to do?
Cheers,
Leon
Hi Leon,
It seems that the custom CSS is the reason behind your issue, I would suggest you remove the code and check if that resolves your issue.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Excellent! This has worked. Thank you so much for your help.
You are most welcome Leon.
