If I download a "site" from the Design Cloud will it over-write my existing pages / structure?

Apologies but I am new to Pro and although have managed to build out a number of pages, I am looking to add certain pages from “sites” within the Design Cloud - Integrity Business being one of the sites I like the look of.

My concern is, if I download the site, will the structure of my content, pages and posts change to Integrity Business?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I’m new to designing pages and as I’ve created 10 + pages I don’t want to overwrite them, just simply use a few templates from the Integrity Business page.

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, once you installed Integrity Business it will override everything on your website. I suggest that you create a new staging WordPress install and installed the Integrity Business there and save the template you want and upload it to your current website.

To do that, the first thing you will go to your staging area page and then save the page as a template.

For example, I save the template as “Test Template” then the next thing you should do is go to Pro > Templates, and there you can download the template.

Once you are able to download the template files, you can now upload to your current website, just go again to Pro > Templates, and upload the files.

After you are done uploading the template, you can now load the template to any of your pages.

I think I follow what I need to do but my hosting provider is having technical issues at the moment so it’s hard to test it.

Just to be sure I’ve fully understood, I clone my existing (Production) site to the Staging Site > go to the “Design Cloud” page in Pro > click “Install” on the site I want > then head to the “Templates” page, download the site > strip out the content/pages I require (how easy is that to do?) then Load the pages I want into the “Production” site in Pro - Templates?

Is that correct?

Hi Oliver,

After you install the Integrity Business, you need to go the page you want to save the template. After you’ve save the template it will available in Pro > Templates and you can download it there. When you are done downloading the template you will upload the template in your production site then load the template in any pages in your production website.
