Icons Now Appearing On Our Search Results Page

Hi there

When I updated our staging site to the latest version of Cornerstone and Theme X, I noticed that icons are now being inserted on our search results page. See screenshot.

What is causing these icons to be displayed and how can I turn that off?

Our staging site is updated to Cornerstone Version 7.4.5, Theme X 10.4.5 with a child theme. All plugins are up to date.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for reaching out.
These are the Post Formats icons, which are by default with the Renew stack that you are using. I would suggest you use any other stack, like Ethos which has a similar structure.

AFAIK there is no setting to hide this icon. But you have the following options:

• use another Stack (but that will change many other visual styles of your site)
• hide the icon via CSS (seems to be the easiest solution)
• create a custom layout with the Layout Builder (more work, but you have control on EVERY design aspect)
