Icons not rendering

Hello,

I just upgraded a website to the latest X theme and now my icons are no longer appearing. Social and standard icons that come out of the box (ie the hamburger menu) with the theme.

I thought there might have been a conflict with my website so I tried a clean Wordpress install, added the theme and same results. What can I do to get icons to load.

Hi Calvin,
Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please give some more information on the issues you are having, like any screenshot marked with the issue, and video that describing the problem.
If you have any specific URL(s) where the issue can be checked live, this information will help us to diagnose the problem at your end.

Here you will see small boxes instead of icons, for example in the drop down menu with sub navigation, there’s a small box instead of the arrow.

Thanks

Hi Calvin,

It seems that you are using the updated version of the X theme i.e 7.2.3 whereas you are still using the older version of the Cornerstone i.e 2.0.6.
I would suggest you to update the Cornerstone to updated version i.e 4.2.3 and check if the issue is still exists or not.
If the issue still exists after the update, I would suggest you troubleshoot a few common issues:

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Disabling Cache

NOTE: Please be sure you have checked Font Awesome options from Theme Options > Miscellaneous > Font Awesome

Thanks

When I try to upgrade Cornerstone, I receive the following message: “Update package not available”.

Is there a way that I can manually update it?

Hi Calvin,

Is the site licensed? I ask this as the URL you posted is not attached to a license in your account. Updates are only available to validated license holders, which would explain the message you’re receiving.
