Icons in Text

How do I add an icon to my text box or even a button like I could do in the first X? I’m working in Cornerstone wit X Pro and I see where to add the element, but that puts the icon outside of the text area. I need an icon in the text.

I used to just be able to use a shortcode: [x_icon type=“adjust”] for example.

Hello @viamaria,

Thanks for writing in!

The “[x_icon type=“adjust”]” shortcode will still work inside the Text element. You can also use the new Headline element and enable the “Graphic” feature. You will have more control if you want to display an icon and a text next to the icon.

Best Regards.

Coolio - thank you!

Are there shortcodes for all the cute little new icons that are in Pro? Or can I just use the old icons from classic X in text? Thank you tons!

Hello @viamaria,

You can use [x_icon type="icon_name"] and you can get the icon names from here:

Best Regards.
