Hello Andrew,
Thanks for writing in! You are having CORS or Cross Origin Resource Sharing issue. To resolve this font awesome icon issues, please check this out:
Please let us know how it goes.
Hey Rue!
Thank you for your response. I see what you’re saying about CORS, and I have had contact with my web host (GoDaddy) for their advice, they thought it might be a cache issue, and it came back to the CORS again. Trouble is, I take the advice to edit on Apache with no success. I’ve edited my .htaccess file several times to try and enable CORS but I’m simply not finding a solution here. Could you please help? I’m sure this would also be a great resolution if we can fix it for others in the same situation.
I’m going to attach my login details separately for you to take a look and advise on where I’m going wrong.
With thanks,
Andrew
Hey Andrew,
Regretfully, we can do nothing about the CORS issue as it’s a server-side problem. If Godaddy can’t resolve it, you will need to move to a better web host. Otherwise, you will need to disable the CDN where your site’s resources are loaded from.
Thank you for understanding.
Thank you Christian. If you could please help with giving me advice on how I can disable the CDN (I’ve tried to find a good article to help me do this but I’m still not clear on it).
Please could you help?
Thank you,
Andrew
Hey Andrew,
Regretfully, CDN setup is outside the control of any theme. Setups can very per web host also so it’s your web host who can help you with that.
Thank you for understanding.
