Icon not appearing in nav bar

I have added a menu item and would like it to be an icon, but the icon won’t show. Any idea why? Here’s what I used to add it:

I added it to the menu using this:

It is supposed to be on our portfolio pages because I can’t assign a different menu there (the portfolio sorting won’t work then). These are the pages:

The icon is there, to the right of “RESOURCES”, but it is black…

You didn’t add what icon should be there. It should be like this

Where &#xf007; is the icon code for User which can be found here http://fontawesome.io/cheatsheet/

I’m so sorry! I didn’t get that at all! Now it is working :slight_smile:

So I’m trying to get this menu to look as similar as the menu I built using the custom header feature, like on this page: https://132.148.19.177/step/1-1-4/

How can I add space between the dropdown menus? I can I add the same yellow hover effect as the menu on this page https://132.148.19.177/step/1-1-4/?

I would assign the menu I have created on all pages but if I assign it on woocommerce account pages or portfolio pages, heading and sorting features disappear.

Hi there.

The header builder’s menu structure is a bit complex than standard menu, it contains animation and particles that you can only setup through its setting. And it’s a bit complex if you apply it on standard menu, it’s like re-creating what’s already available from header builder. So please use the header builder instead :slight_smile:

I would use the header builder – if it didn’t remove titles and portfolio sorting on pages. Is there a workaround here? Would LOVE to have the header function on all my pages but it simply doesn’t, hence why I am trying to create a similar look to the normal menu…

There is no current workaround because it’s a bit complex but I’ll forward this as the feature request. And I think they already working on that filter and breadcrumbs since it should be available. Please stay tuned for the updates.
