I want black overlay effect on half of the column how?

but on the hover i want that the overlay effects like this

can you please help me out.
at present the overlay is bydefault applied .

Hello Ketan,

Thanks for writing in! You can use a DIV element that will be positioned as “Absolute” to cover the whole column area.

You can then add a semi-transparent background color to this element.
