I think X theme is forcing bbpress author role as 'member'

In my forum all users, who were created using custom bbp roles based on ‘Participant’, are being described as ‘members’. ‘Member’ was not set up by myself so I think X is forcing this. Take a look here:

I’d like the forum to call the custom bbpress forum role I created.

Thanks for reaching out.

Our theme does not alter, add, or change any role with bbpress. It’s just a theme that has a set of templates that wraps existing features to make its design uniform with the theme.

Have you tried disabling the plugins?

It could be also just a word "Member" that needs a translation and not actually a role name. I checked our theme and I don’t see any code related to bbp-author-role, it has "Member" wording but it’s part of the admin template. Hence, it’s not related to our theme.
