I have the pro version unable to find Demos to use

Hello I have the pro versios which i started to use for my new website.

I know before you had to have the x version to upload demos and then you will have to switch to pro. So, I’m not sure how i can use the demos for my site?

Hey there, @MEHLAW,

As you alluded to, Pro does not come with the demo and expanded demo content that is shipped with our X theme. However, with Pro, you have access to Design Cloud instead, which has a wide range of content that you can use to give yourself a head start on your new website. You can find this by going to Pro > Templates > Design Cloud. See below where I mean:

Also, just to let you know that full demo content will be coming to Pro in a forthcoming update. I cannot give you a specific date on that at this stage, but the Design Cloud content should get you going in the meantime.

Thanks for choosing Pro, and have a great day.

Same problem for me. So infuriating. I would NOT have upgraded to Pro had I known this and now it seems I can’t go back having tried revoking validations. It’s not good enough to point to Design Cloud which I’m sure is great if your adding content to an already established site but does not even BEGIN to give the ‘head start’ you elude to in the same way demo content did. Basically you have to start from scratch … Grrrrr

Hello @Cosawes,

Thanks for writing in!

I understand the point you are alluding to. However, since the launch Pro Theme did not had Demo Content as it’s been designed and developed on a completely different templating engine. We had this question in our mind to give our customers a better solution. That’s when we came up with Design Cloud. In Design Cloud we have made the provision for customers to submit their own templates along with Themeco designed templates, over here Themeco is acting as a curator when it comes with Customers templates.

On the other hand X Theme has traditional Demo import functionality that has various demos on top of our four stacks (Integrity, Ethos, Renew, Icon). I would like to mention that Stack functionality is also there in Pro Theme which can be changed from Pro > Theme Options > Stacks. So, I do agree that at a certain level with Pro Theme customers have to start from base but with proper usage of Design Cloud templates task becomes easier.

Pro Theme was and is targeted towards users looking for more granular control while designing and developing website. That’s why it has Header Builder, Footer Builder and Design Cloud. On the other hand users looking to get the website up and running without getting into granular details like Headers and Footers can use X Theme as it also has demo content.

Thanks.
