I forgot the child theme

I started making changes to the parent theme and then realized I needed to download the child theme. Is there a way to make the child theme inherit the changes that were already made to the parent theme or do I need to start over?

Thanks for wiring to us.

You can override the parent theme template into the child theme with the same directory structure on which you made the changes and then you can upload the fresh copy of the parent theme. I would also suggest you have a backup of the parent theme before you upload a fresh copy of the parent theme.
