I don't know how to get rid of the black bars showing at the top and bottom of the video background on rev slider!

Hi, I’m working on a site and I’ve used a video as the main background that runs behind each slide on the Home page and for some reason it has a black bar at the top and bottom of it that I can’t figure out how to get rid of! It’s set to ‘Full Screen’ in the settings so I don’t know what I’ve overlooked.

I’ll appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know if I’m missing something please!

Hi, thanks for checking, but it must be when the screen is at a certain size, as I can see the black bar at the top and bottom of the slider. I’ve attached a screen grab to show you. I’ve made the nav bar transparent so you can see the black bar at the top of the page!

I also cannot replicate the issue on my end.

I have resized the browser to multiple sizes.

Can you clarify which screensize and browser you are using?

Hi, I’m using the latest version of Chrome on a mac and it’s not a specific screen size, I just grab the bottom corner of my browser and resize it myself and the black bars appear, and also when I’m in Cornerstone and use the feature to select the screen size, it also shows the black bars on that too.

Upon testing, I can confirm this issue on Chrome (https://snag.gy/cEbAav.jpg).

Could you please try adding the following CSS rule into your page’s CSS section or Theme Options > Global CSS area.

.rev_slider ul li {
  background-color: transparent !important;
}
