I can't figure out how to remove the padding from the Footer

Hey guys. I have been reading in the forum about how to remove padding and margin from the footer. I try every possibility available and none of them works.

The site has a width design of 95% so I don’t have to deal with adding padding in the <SECTION’s>.

I created my footer in Global Blocks but bc the 95% padding, I have this padding around the Footer Global Block.

I tried several suggestions from the forum but none of them worked.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website but didn’t understand what you are trying to achieve here. If you want to remove all the padding and margin from the footer, you need to override the default attribute values of the Theme. If that is the case, you need to use the custom CSS code which is beyond the scope of our Theme Support, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

WOW, this is very disappointing, definitely not the way to go. I have been using xTheme for over 6 years now and I have been advocating xTheme, especially for the customer service, but now seems not to be the case.

It is a simple question about CSS and since you guys created the “One” everything you guys have to say “… is beyond the scope of our Theme Support, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One”.

Take a look at your Forum and you will see clearly that not only CSS as well questions have been answering 100’s if not 1K’s of time.

Very disappoint.

Hi Robert,

I am sorry that my answer disappoints you. But if you see in most of the cases custom CSS available in the forum does not affect the predefined values of the Theme. In your case, the CSS needs to override the predefined values, and that is why it required some customization.

Hope I am able to explain it to you.
Thanks
