I can't activate PRO on my site

I have recently made two moves. I have upgraded my X license to Pro and I’m trying to transfer Pro from my old site (currently inaccessible) to my new one with no success. The old site is www.cangurumobile.com/wp and the new one is www.a3sil.com.br

When I try to activate Pro in Wordpress I get the message :“Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”, even thought I have already followed the steps to transfer the license to the new domain.

The old site has been inaccessible ever since I have upgrade X to Pro.

I have now tried to use the staging license to activate the production site and it worked. What are the implications of that?

Hello Milton,

Thanks for writing in!

There’s no issues in running a website on staging licence. I checked your licence manager and can see that in production licence you have entered a different URL other then http://www.cangurumobile.com/wp/ and that’s why when validating you are getting the message of already used on other website. Please remove the URL and then enter http://www.a3sil.com.br in production to validate. Please make sure to remove the URL (
http://www.a3sil.com.br) from staging before validation.

I checked the website and can see the error message PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in \\WINDOWS-PD-0001.FS.LOCAWEB.COM.BR\WNFS-0001\cangurumobile\web\wp\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\vendor\composer\autoload_namespaces.php on line 5. I tried to enter the WordPress administrator section and there also I am getting same error message.

Please do following:

  1. Login to FTP using any any software of your choice, I use Filezilla.
  2. Under /wp-content/plugins/ folder, delete wordpress-seo folder and then try to access the website.

To get started with FTP and Filezilla, you can refer following post:

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

@Prasant thanks for the instructions. I have followed them and the problem with a3sil.com.br seems to be solved.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Milton.
