I am trying to create a banner without the use of revolution slider?

I’ve recently decided to speed up my website, and I want to find a way to create a banner without having to use this powerhunger plugin. Any ideas, here is a screen shot to one of my blog posts so you can see what I am trying to replicate.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for reaching out.

You can do that through the builder, example,

  1. Add a section and inspect it, then set a background image (the woman in the background).

  1. Then set your section’s row column to 1/3+2/3

  1. Add an image element to the first column and set the iPad image

  2. Add two text element (bolder texts, and thinner texts) to the second column, format your text to make it similar to your
    screenshot

  3. Add a button element to the second column just under the texts

  4. Inspect the second column and align them to center

The downside with this is it’s not going to scale up and down similar to revolution slider. It will be just a standard content banner.

Thank you, I will try this out as soon as I can solve my newest problem… I can’t get access to cornerstone. Should I open up a seperate thread for this?

Not exactly sure what you mean by can’t get access, do you mean you can’t open cornerstone?
