Hyperlink to open content area modal on different page?

[blueoaks]

I am wondering if it is possible to hyperlink text on one page that takes the user to an open modal on a different page? I am not sure how to link directly to an open modal.

For example, I have the name of a staff member in a paragraph of text on our home page and would like to allow visitors who want to know more about him to click his name and be taken to his bio, which I’ve set up as a content area modal on our About Us page. I can link to his icon image easily enough, but how do I link to the open modal (where modal pops open after the destination page loads and scrolls down to the staff section)?

thank you for suggestions

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

It’s only possible with customization using jQuery or standard javascript and it’s a bit tricky. I recommend contacting a developer for this kind of implementation.

Linking from and to another page is only limited to anchor names.

Thanks!
