Hyperlink Issue

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is already a known issue, but I wanted to point it out to be fixed in a future version.

Currently, you can’t add multiple links within an edit. Let me explain what I mean…

If I have three lines of text and I want to change each one to link to a page…

When I go to link the first one, it will allow me to search for the page via text, and click on the correct one. Great.

When I go to do this for the second line, it will again allow me to search, but it won’t let me select a page.

The only way to get it to let me choose this second link, is by saving the page - and then it allows me to do it.

So, one has to save between each link selection.

This is particularly frustrating for me as I have loads of links to sort out, and my broadband is slow (so it takes ages to save).

There’s an interesting work around to this actually, which might help anyone struggling - and also might help devs sort it.

The issue occurs when you click on a suggested link. At that point you can’t click on a different suggested link, they just don’t take.

However, if you select the link from the suggested links using keyboard (arrow keys and enter) it does allow you to keep changing links, and performing multiple link additions.

But I’m not sure what issue you’re referring. Is it editing within Wordpress editor? Please provide a video recording.
