HTML tables do not displayed correctly in posts (with Postie plugin)

Hi there

For our new website we decided to use the plugin Postie to create new posts automatically when we send a newsletter to our club members. That works finde but the html table is not displayed correctly. Below I’ve uploaded a screenshot. On the left you see how it was sent as an email and on the right how it’s displayed as published post:

I tired to post it on another website I’ve created which doesn’t use PRO theme and there it works fine. Might it be a conflict with some theme-based CSS?

This is the mentioned post, if you want to have a closer look: http://schaffh4.myhostpoint.ch/2019/01/03/bond-post-n01-2019/

We use:
– WordPress 4.9.9
– PRO Version: 2.3.6

Best,
Christian

Hi Christian,

Thank you for writing in, we can not call it a styling conflict since the plugin is simply inheriting the styling of the Theme. Regretfully, there is no class on your table to use as a selector and we can not use tag table, tr, td, etc as it might affect other areas of the theme if we override the table styling with that selector.

Please contact your plugin support and ask to provide table styling that wont affect the theme.

Thanks,
