HTML links have extra text added

Hi,

I am getting strange results with HTML Links I am creating for a site. If you look at the link at the bottom of this page:

https://luckmancatering.com.au/333-collins/ you’ll see that it’s adding the page URL to this external link when viewing in a browser. (VISIT THE 333 COLLINS WEBSITE).

Regards,
Darren.

Hi Darren,

The problem is that you did not add the https:// on your link. Please add that to the link and you will not have the problem.

Thank you.

Hi Christopher,

Please look at the page I gave and link text that I included when describing the issue. The link text did include the http://

Darren.

Hi Darren,

I checked the page in question and the problem is the quotation mark that you used. You used the special character of and it is not correct, the correct mark is " (See the difference of rendering the quote).

I changed that to correct character and it is working with no problem now.

Thank you.

Thanks Christopher,

It all works fine now.

Cheers,
Darren.

You’re more than welcome, glad we could help.

Cheers!
