Href links once site goes live

Is there any good general advice regarding setting up href links while working on site before you go live? What I mean is site is currently at websitename.com/newsite I guess when it goes live it will just be websitename.com will this be problematic in future once live? Thanks!

Hi @galatia,

You can use the whole URL like href=“http://websitename.com/newsite/blog”.

There wont be any problem with the href links. Because we can use the Search and Replace Plugin later after going live.

So we can search for all websitename.com/newsite text and replace it with websitename.com.
