How you expect to use alternative index title?

In the conerstone panel (α) tab meta setting, there is a field for alternative title.
What and how you expect to use it.

I have SEO plugin to change PAGE and POST title apart from titles in wordpress.
but I just want to change breadcrumb title keeping original title in post and pages.

Your alternative title function is not for that?

The feature you are looking for is not available in the theme, you need custom development to achieve this.
You can also do this through Yoast SEO plugins please check this article for help.
