How/Where to integrate Umami code snippet

Hi,

I am trying to set up Umami with my Pro and X theme websites. Since I am using a child theme I am wondering how and where I should input the code snippet below as the usual location in header.php between head…</head does not seem to be the best idea.

Please just note that adding 3rd party codes to your site is beyond our scope of theme support. With that said, we cannot provide support for issues that might arise.

thanks for your help and the link. I am assuming that since I am using the child theme anyway, it should not interfere with a potential Pro theme update?

Hello Daniel,

Yes, it won’t as long as you have placed all your modifications and template customizations in the child theme.
