I updated the cornerstone plugin today, please tell me how to undo this, I would be very happy if I could use the older version again!! Its not working nice at all.
Hi There,
Although we recommend you keeping your site updated to the latest version of X and Cornerstone, we offer a stability version which can be downloaded from your APEX Dashboard - https://theme.co/apex
The link is just below the X Download Link.
After that, follow these steps:
- Revoke your License from Wp Admin > X section and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
https://theme.co/apex/licenses
-
Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
-
Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
-
Download the stability version of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
-
Validate your theme.
Let us know how it goes.
If you would like help troubleshooting what is hapenning with your installation when you update X and Cornerstone to the latest versions, please provide the URL of the updated site with details about the issues you are facing.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Main problem was, elements didn’t load in page anymore, after cleaning all Cache(s) element load now, very slow but they load in page.
So I leave the update installed hoping things will improve soon.
Thank you for advice and response!
Hi There,
Remember to clear all caches (plugin, internal, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Have a nice weekend,
Cheers!
