As it stands now, when you have a self-hosed video without looping (plays one time), it always goes back to the first frame after the playback s finished.
Shouldn’t it stay on the last frame as any other player does?

The Video element only utilizes what’s available in WordPress (see https://youtu.be/LSn-Rj8k6VQ). Custom development or a third party plugin is needed to achieve what you need.
