How to show latest posts on the homepage?

Hi,

I was wondering how to make my latest posts show up on the homepage. When I enter my website yyyyyy.com there is nothing except for the menu. I have to go to the menu and click the page button and then find the article in question.

I would also like the posts to show up when clicking my logo. As of now, the logo takes me to my “Articles Page” but doesn’t show any posts I’ve put on that page.

  1. If the intention is to only display latest post on home page then please select Your homepage displays Your latest posts under Settings > Reading.

  2. If you have already designed home page using Cornerstone and want to show latest post in certain section, then please use Cornerstone Clasic recent post element.

  3. In case you have used Visual composer to design page layout, in that case you can use Display Recent post, post grid or post masonry grid element.

In the menu section I have made the following structure: A button - Custom Link( that links to my yyyyy.com) website, under the custom link I have a Page called “Articles” where I keep my posts.

Custom Link “Home”
Page “Articles”
Posts “xxx” “yyyy” “zzzz”

It seems like no matter what I chose under “Reading” - “Static” or “Your latest posts” I will see my posts on the home page…

Hi there,

If you have a specific page created and you set it as the Front page displays in the Reading settings, you should not see the posts in the homepage anymore. I have done and tested this in the local setup and it works well as I am seeing the custom page as the homepage.

Please make sure you have save the settings in Settings > Reading > Front page displays.

If this is still not working, please provide the admin details to your site in a Secure Note.

Hi there,

I have logged in to your site and the home page that you have created is not showing as the homepage because you didn’t set it as the homepage in Settings > Reading > Front page displays : A static page > Homepage.

I have gone ahead and set the Home page as the homepage. You should be able to see the page now when you check your site.

First of all, thank you for your patience.

However, I did that too but the thing is that my posts won’t show up. I will give you an example of what I’m looking for: http://www.diyhousesecurity.com/

I want my posts to show up like this on my website.

Hi there,

Thanks for making that clear.

In that case, please go back to Setting > Reading then set Your latest posts then go to X > Launch > Ethos > Blog Options then disable Filterable Index.
