How to save a layout as a template

Hello,

I have created a landing page on one of my websites and to save me heaps of time I tried to save it as a template.

When I go to my other site and try to upload the .csl file it shows 3 blank sections. no images to text nothing.

I am sure I am doing something wrong. I have both sites using the x pro theme and can not figure it out. am I hoping for too much or have I just missed a step?

dont worry fixed it. my theme was not auto updating so just reinstalled
